How PlayCorner Works

The format. The courts. The rotations.

1

Corner Kick Format

Five players per side on a 40 by 20 meter court. Rules are tweaked—bigger corners, no offside, games reset fast. The ball stays in play tight. One sloppy touch and you turn it over. That's what makes it work. Nowhere to waste time, so your touches have to count.

Skill-Level Matching

Rosters get sorted by level on a 1 to 5 scale. A Level 2 player doesn't end up in a game with Level 4s. You show up and play against people who challenge you the right way. Not bored. Not drowning. Games stay competitive because of it.

Fast Rotations

Each game is two rounds of fifteen minutes. Lose and you sit out the next rotation. Winners stay on. Fresh playres rotate in. Nobody's standing on the sideline for an hour. The pace doesn't stop.

League & Tournament Play

League rosters lock for six weeks starting week one. Same time slot, same teammates every session. Everything gets tracked. Top two teams fight it out in playoffs. Weekends have open tournaments if you want something different—enter solo or bring your crew. League keeps you stable. Tournaments mix it up.

Constant Play, No Sitting

What Sets PlayCorner Apart

The stuff that actually matters.

Real Rotations

Rotation speed matters because you're always playing, never watching. Games run in 15-minute blocks. Winners stay on, losers take a round off. The rhythm keeps you locked in and the court stays busy.

Consistent Courts

Same surface every time you show up. Lines are marked. Goals are in the right spot. No guessing. A bad court surface or weak lighting kills the technical level fast and everyone notices.

Skill Filtering

Level 3 doesn't play with Level 1. Sounds simple. Most rec leagues don't bother. We actually sort by game sense and touch quality. Balanced rosters lead to balanced games.

Common Questions

PlayCorner FAQ

Questions people actually ask. Honest answers. No fluff.

Corner kick uses modified rules: wider corner zones, no offside, faster resets on possession loss. The court is the same 40×20m but the game stays tighter and more intense because there's nowhere to hide. Every touch matters. One mistake and you lose the ball immediately—no long passing chains to reset. Forces you to make decisions faster.

We sort by a 1–5 scale based on your first session performance and how you rate yourself. Level 2 rosters don't mix with Level 4. The scale measures game intelligence, touch consistency, and positioning—not just speed or size. Once you're in a bracket, you stay unless you ask to move. Most people stick in their level for weeks or months.

One no-show per month is free. Miss twice in a month and you're off the roster until next month starts. Cancel with at least a day's notice and you keep your spot on the waitlist. Not complicated—just respect the slot. People are relying on balanced teams, not waiting around for your maybe.

League is for consistency. Same teammates, same time, same court every week for 6 weeks. You build understanding with your squad and play against teams that improve week-to-week. Drop-in is faster booking and variety—new opponents every session. League runs about $85 per player. Drop-in is $18 per session. Pick based on what you want: routine or rotation.
